Sugar in 1945 described the disease. Sixteen cases were reported by Chandler in 1956 and were identified with typical primary iris atrophy. 1961 Gorin and Posner proposed Chandler syndrome. In 1982 Liu Guangjin had reported 1 case. Ray × male 46-year-old teacher, outpatient number 32281983 December 31 left eye pain, decreased vision, tearing for two days to clinic. Right eye is normal.
