无锡市机械行业一直是全市总量领先、效益较好的行业。表现在焊接设备方面,曾一度出现重进口、轻国产的现象。但是,进口设备也存在价格昂贵、备件紧缺,维修困难等弱点。近些年来,在行业组织的推动下,供需双方加强合作沟通,坚持“焊接设备以国产为主,必要时进口”的原则,使国产焊机得到有效推广。本市机械行业某公司的国产焊机占有量从几年前的50%,上升到75%。其焊接设备的构成和国内外焊接设备使用状况如下表,具有一定代表性。
