宗教财产类型变动,本质上属于将局限于特定家庭成员或者亲属为宗教用途而使用的宗教财产,经过法定程序转换为提供给不特定的相同宗教信众或者公众使用的宗教财产。该宗教财产的法律地位发生了根本性的变化:从私有财产变动为公共财产,从可继承可处分可强制执行的财产变动为不可继承不可处分不可强制执行的财产,从完全属于私人财产自由范围内的财产变动为属于受到政府和信教群众监督和管理的财产。在此类型变动中,应当由捐献人在捐献之前以合法方式对该宗教财产的利益相关者(法定继承人、债权人、抵押权人)做出保障。
