美国华裔女性文学通常被定义为由在美国出生或后移居美国、有华裔血统的女性作家用英语所写的文学作品。其创作通常反映了中美两国文化相互碰撞、吸收和交融的历史,折射出漂泊在异国他乡的华人移民及其后代围绕着文化认同、民族身份的得与失所表现出来的矛盾与冲突。20世纪60年代在美国民权运动以及女权运动的影响下,美国华裔女性作家的创作热情得到了空前释放,此后涌现了诸如汤亭亭、谭恩美、任碧莲和邝丽莎等等为世人耳熟能详的作家。本文主要选取在2009年-2014年期间近20余篇中英文著作与研究文献,对美国华裔女性主义文学批评的简史、作品风格、作品侧重点及作家文化身份问题进行综述,预测其未来发展走向,最后指明所选取研究文献的局限与不足之处,并提出一些自己的观点和看法,希望有关学者能够以贯穿中西的视角加深对美国华裔女性文学的研究。
Chinese American women’s literature is usually defined as a literary work written in English by female writers of Chinese origin who immigrated to the United States in the United States. His writing often reflects the history of the collision and assimilation of cultures between China and the United States. It reflects the contradictions and conflicts shown by Chinese immigrants and their descendants living in different countries and areas around the cultural identity and the gain and loss of national identity. In the 1960s, under the influence of the civil rights movement and the feminist movement in the United States, the creative enthusiasm of Chinese-American women writers was unprecedentedly released. As a result, writers such as Maxine Hong Kong, Amy Tan, Ren Bilian and Kwong Lisha emerged in the world. This article mainly chooses nearly 20 articles in both English and Chinese in the period of 2009-2014, summarizes the brief history of American-Chinese feminist literary criticism, the style of his work, the focus of his works and the writer’s cultural identity, and forecasts its future development Finally, it points out the limitations and shortcomings of the selected research literature, and puts forward some opinions and opinions. It is hoped that the scholars concerned can deepen their research on the American Chinese women’s literature through the perspective of both China and the West.
