High-precision gravimeter observations contained in a variety of information can be divided into two categories. The first belongs to the information inherent in the Earth’s gravitational field; the second belongs to the information appended to each individual observational instrument. The first type of information contains long-term changes in gravity such as translation of the earth’s core, mass transfer in the crust and lava, point changes, rotation and shape of the Earth, changes in the gravitational constant, and short-term changes such as the Earth’s tidal effects, groundwater Changes, changes in air quality, the consequences of human behavior and so on.
