A new, unprecedented approach to satellite tracking eventually gave the Malaysian prime minister enough confidence to announce to the outside world that Malaysia Airlines eventually crashed into the farther South Indian Ocean. Inmarsat, the maritime satellite company that provided the evidence, said the aircraft had flown in two “large lanes”, one in the northern hemisphere and one in the southern hemisphere. However, after reviewing their data last Sunday and using a new kinematic calculus analysis method, they ruled out the possibility of the plane flying to the north side of the aisle and judging the passage of the plane in the south. Based on this new information, Malaysian Prime Minister announced on Monday that the Indian Ocean in the west of Perth, Australia
