农村成人教育一是要改革、二是要在改革中求得发展。根据农民教育的特点,改革文化教育的教学内容和方法,加强农民教师队伍的建设,这是提高农民思想、文化素质的关键环节。这里笔者就如何搞好扫盲后农民初等文化教育谈几点浅见: 1.要编写适用的教材。过去农民学习用的两初教材,目前存在着很大的不足:一是缺乏适应性,文化知识与技术知识不协调,学文化单纯学文化,理论与实践相脱节;二是缺少地方性,教材内容不注意区域性,强求统一,教材中有些内容农民本身就没见过,激发不起农民学习的兴趣;三是缺少针对性,教材与农民的自身特点,和农村的生产实际,联系不紧;四是缺少灵活性,教材没有注意吸收最新的生产技术知识,使科研与生产脱节。因此,编写一些文化教育寓于技术教育之中的乡土教材是当务之急。扫盲后教材的编写,要注意其阶
