一年两度的大学英语四级考试已经落下帷幕。作为对全国公共英语的水平测试,虽然不再划设及格分数线,但在师生心目中其测试结果早已预设为“通过”和“不通过”两种。以往的大学英语四级辅导主要关注一次辅导后的通过率,但很大程度上却忽视了没有通过四级考试同学的考试后辅导,甚至放任自流。一些高校在大二后不再开设公共英语课程,以至于毕业后仍有部分同学没有通过四级。如果我们在四级考试成绩出来后马上对此类同学进行考后辅导,挖掘他们自身的潜力,那么四级考试的四年累积通过率将会有一个有力的补充。
The four-year College English CET-4 exam has come to an end. As a test of the national public English level, although the pass mark is no longer drawn, the test results of teachers and students have long been presumed to be both “pass” and “not pass”. In the past, the four levels of college English counseling mainly focused on the passing rate after one counseling, but to a large extent, they neglected the examination after class without passing the level four examinations, and even let go. Some colleges and universities no longer have public English courses after their sophomore year, so that some of their classmates did not pass Grade 4 after graduation. If we conduct post-test counseling for such students immediately after the completion of the fourth-grade test scores and tap their own potential, the four-year cumulative pass rate for the fourth-level examinations will be a powerful supplement.
