美国联邦法院去年12月底陷入这样两场官司:一是 Cincinnati 保险公司想从日益增长的2000年费用中寻找部分保护;二是软件开发者开始将矛头指向微软公司。在首例案件中,Cincinnati 保险公司承担Source Data Systems 的保险,Source Data Systems将医院管理软件卖给 Pineville 枉区医院协会。1996年,也就是安装完软件5个月后,医院集团发现新得到的软件不能正确渡过2000年,Pineville 方面要求赔偿替换掉该系统所花费的125万美元,而 Source Data 又要求 Cincinnati 保险公司
The U.S. federal court came into law in late December last year, two lawsuits: First, Cincinnati insurers want to find part of the protection from the growing cost in 2000; Second, software developers began to spearhead Microsoft. In the first case, Cincinnati insures Source Data Systems and Source Data Systems sells hospital management software to the Pineville Ward Hospital Association. In 1996, five months after installing the software, the hospital group found that the new software did not survive the year 2000 and that Pineville demanded compensation in the amount of $ 1.25 million it spent replacing the system.
