对于智能建筑的出现,公认的是以1984年美国康涅狄格州哈特福德市的都市大厦为标志。在这之后,智能建筑在美、日、欧洲及世界各地发展迅速,我国的智能建筑在最近的约20年时间里也获得了快速发展。智能建筑的发展依托于现实的需求,一方面,随着国际恐怖主义活动的猖獗、社会犯罪的不断发生,如何赋予智能建筑针对恐怖活动及犯罪活动的提前预防、及时处理、有效回溯的功能就成为亟待解决的问题。另一方面,随着社会的发展,人们对其所处的建筑场所的有序管理、便捷智能、节能环保有了更高的要求。因此,如何利用科技的手段,实现智能建筑的安全现代化、管理现代化、智能现代化、环保现代化成为了智能建筑安防领域的当务之急。
