ContiTech Germany creates a new type of elevator sling that incorporates a polyurethane-wrapped steel wire material. The company, one of the tire manufacturers in the European continent, claims that its Poly Rope Polyurethane is 3 times longer and 20% lighter than traditional steel; the products are available in different sizes: 25 mm and 50 mm.
