分类与整理属于小学数学统计与概率这部分知识,位于一年级下册第三单元,它是在学生学会了按一定的标准分类的基础上进行学习的。也是在整个小学数学教材中第一次提出“分类”这个概念,它是今后学习统计表,统计图的基础。对于分类这个知识,对学生来说看起来像是全新的一块知识,但在上一册教材的有关内容中,已经渗透了分类的思想。在认识物体和图形时,要求学生把形状相同的放在一起,就是要学生运用分类的方法,把“形状”作为分类的标准,把不同形状的物体划归为不同的类。在实际生活中,分类思维也有着广泛的应用。例如,商店里的物品要分类摆放,便于顾客很快找到想买的东西;学生也要学会对自己的学习用品和生活用品进行分类整理,使自己的学习和生活有规律等等。因此在教学中,要注重将知识与实际生活联系起来;注重学生的实际操作,让学生在实际活动中找出分类的标准,掌握分类的方法。
