[Objective] To analyze the incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma in Zhongshan City from 1970 to 2010 and provide scientific evidence for the prevention and treatment of liver cancer in Zhongshan City. [Methods] The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma in Zhongshan City from 1970 to 2010 was collected and analyzed. The incidence, crude rate, successful rate and world standard rate were statistically analyzed. [Results] The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma in Zhongshan City was 7,646 from 1970 to 2010, of which 6183 were male, the incidence rate and world standard rate were 25.80 / 100000 and 30.41 / 100000 respectively, and the incidence of female was 1463. The incidence rate and world standard rate were 6.13 / 10 million and 6.46 / 10 million, the incidence of men than women. The overall incidence of HCC increased from 1970 to 2010, but the incidence of HCC increased from 1970 to 1978 and from 1995 to 2010 mainly. The main trend was in women in 1970-1977. The upward trend of males was obvious. The incidence of liver cancer increased rapidly after the age of 30, male 75 ~ age group, a total of 65 ~ group reached a peak, the peak of 80 + age group. The incidence patterns of age at different periods are basically the same, but the incidence trends of different age groups are different, relatively stable before 50 years old, and obviously increased after 50 years old. [Conclusion] The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma in Zhongshan City is especially high in the world and middle and upper middle class in China, and the incidence of men significantly increased, suggesting that the prevention and treatment of liver cancer should be strengthened in particular.
