乡镇企业是我们建设有中国特色社会主义的杰作,目前已是我国经济的半壁江山,在一些发达地区已是“三分天下有其二”。而对经济全球化和知识经济的形势和特点,中国乡镇企业这艘巨轮如何向二十一世纪靠岸。笔者认为:要建设乡镇企业信息化。乡镇企业信息化是知识经济的主要内容。是广泛利用电子信息技术使生产、管理实现自动化。它包括两大部分:一是生产过程自动化,用自动化生产、测量、显示、控制等工具,通过生产信息达到生产的自动化;二是管理现代化,建立管理信息系统(MIS)、办公自动化系统(OA)以及决策支持系统(DSS)、专家系统(ES)等工具,不仅代替人的体力劳动,而且也代替人们的脑力劳动。一、建立乡镇企业信息化的意义。乡镇企业是以当地资源优势发展起来的,九十年代虽然发展速度快,但其经济效益不明显,这其中主要的原因有设备落后,科技含量低,产品单一,市场不广阔,管理粗放,竞争力不强,后劲明显不足。面对国际市场接轨的挑战,乡镇企业要在国际大市场上有一席之地,必须依靠科技进步和管理,提高企业的整体素质。而借助于信息化对企业经营各要素进行优化组合,合理配置,使生产和经营活 Township enterprises are masterpieces of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
