《四川有色金属》创刊于1986年,由原四川省省长蒋民宽题写刊名,经国家科委、新闻出版署批准,在国内外公开出版发行,主办单位四川省有色金属工业公司和四川省有色金属学会,编辑部挂靠在四川省冶金研究所.
Sichuan Nonferrous Metals was first published in 1986 and was published by former governor of Sichuan Province Jiang Minchu. After being approved by the State Science and Technology Commission and Press and Publication Administration, it was publicly published at home and abroad. The organizers Sichuan Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation and Sichuan Nonferrous Metals Metal Society, the editorial department anchored in Sichuan Institute of Metallurgy.
