埃及长绒棉以其优质高产著称于世,埃及人把棉花称作“白色的金子”,在其国民经济和对外贸易中占有重要地位。为学习埃及发展棉花生产的经验,农业部组织我区长绒棉科技工作者三人,于去年7—9月赴埃学习考察。 Egyptian long-staple cotton is known for its high-quality and high-yielding products. The Egyptians refer to cotton as “white gold” and occupy an important position in their national economy and foreign trade. To learn about the experience of developing cotton production in Egypt, the Ministry of Agriculture organized three long-staple cotton science and technology workers in our district to study in Egypt from July to September last year.
