作为我国创造教育理论的奠基人,陶行知先生早就指出:“教育不能创造什么,但它能启发儿童创造力以从事于创造工作。”如何启发与培育儿童的创造力,这也是中国当代教育改革所面临的一个重大课题。改革开放以后,广大教育理论和实践工作者就这一问题做了不少探索与研究,但与加快国家创新体系建设和推动“大众创新,万众创业”的迫切要求相比,还显得相当滞后。只有勇于检视现实困境,主动破解发展难题,才能培养出更多符合时代需要的创新人才。

However, they are still quite equal to the urgent requirements of accelerating the establishment of a national innovation system and promoting ”mass innovation and all kinds of entrepreneurship."
