GeorgeLakoff, one of the founders of the cognitive linguistics school, was invited to give lectures at BeiHao in April this year. In 10 lectures, Lakoff systematically taught the core issues of cognitive linguistics, historical development, interdisciplinary studies, the latest developments and future trends. Lakoff also discussed with some well-known scholars in the domestic linguistics field on the afternoon of April 8 before the series of lectures began.
