WACS is the abbreviation for women’s antioxident cardiovascular study in clinical trials. A number of randomized clinical trials have failed to demonstrate that anti-oxidant vitamins (either monogamous or multi-vitamin cocktail) affect cardiovascular disease. Few clinical trials have examined the interaction of individual anti-oxidants and no clinical trial has investigated the impact of vitamin C alone on the risk of CVD.
