在猫展文化在国内遍地开花之时,迄今为止,广州却未曾举行过官方的或者非正式的猫展。2007年5月1日至4日,借“五一”假期之际,时代地产与广州CFA及爱猫协会等团体合作,在时代花生雅苑共同组织及宣传猫猫逗趣嘉年华,吸引众多猫友、爱猫的人、摄影爱好者以及媒体出席,并针对现今媒体广泛报道的各类虐猫事件,在活动现场正面宣传爱猫护猫的知识,营造一个和谐广州的气氛。
At a time when cat culture has blossomed throughout China, so far, no official or informal cat show has ever been held in Guangzhou. From May 1 to May 4, 2007, on the occasion of May Day holiday, Times Real Estate, in collaboration with Guangzhou CFA and Love Cat Association, co-organized and publicized the Cat Carnival Carnival at Peanut Garden to attract many Cat lovers, cat lovers, photographers and the media attended the event.
