玉是矿石中比较高贵的一种,中国古人认为玉是光荣和幸福的化身,刚毅和仁慈的象征,一些外国学者也把玉作为中国的“国石”。
Jade is the nobler kind of ore. The Chinese ancients considered jade a symbol of honor and fortitude and a symbol of fortitude and kindness. Some foreign scholars also regard jade as the “stone of the country” of China.
