在很多报道及论文中指出,在世界各地的考试中,中国学生的应试水平以及知识储备量都很高,然而需要创新实践的时候成绩都不是很理想。分析其中的原因,发现与当前的应试教育有着密切的联系。就地理这一学科而言,传统的课堂教学中存在着许多弊端,如教师更注重教授知识而忽视了培养技能,注重学生学习结果而忽视了学习过程,注重知识的学习而忽视了经验的应用,这一些弊端的存在造成了学生对地理学习的兴趣下降。
