部分学者对乾嘉经史考据笔记的研究价值有充分的认识,但尚未引起学界的普遍重视。对学术笔记的搜集取得了很大成绩,但乾嘉经史考据笔记尚未得到全面而专门的整理。在乾嘉经史考据笔记中,一部分重要专家的论著得到了较多关注,但对乾嘉经史考据笔记的全面研究还未见开展。以往对乾嘉考据学的研究,从文献学、史学角度的研究较多,从小学角度对考据的发掘不足,目前还缺乏从小学角度对乾嘉经史考据笔记的全面纵论。未来的研究,应将乾嘉经史考据笔记作为一个专门的类别整理出来,有计划地开展全面的文本研究,加强训诂学角度的考察,使考据笔记在语言文字学上的价值得到应有的发挥。
