大多数的烟气中都含有固体物。它们的数量和成份决定于燃料的种类、燃烧设备的布置、运行的情况和分离装置的效果。采用固体燃料多数是形成飞灰和炭粒,这对大型锅炉就需要特种的飞灰捕集装置。燃烧含硫的燃料时烟气中就会存在含酸的灰片。但如果燃油锅炉设计或运行不得当,同样可产生酸性灰的结果,当然这些促成的因素并不单单局限于液体燃料。虽然燃油的烟气中以灰片形态出现的固体物数量通常是很少的,可是它的含酸却很高,事实说明它的危害性并不小。
Most flue gases contain solids. Their quantity and composition depend on the type of fuel, the arrangement of the combustion equipment, the conditions of operation and the effectiveness of the separation device. The use of solid fuels mostly forms fly ash and char particles, which require special fly ash traps for large boilers. Sour ash is present in the flue gas when burning sulfur-containing fuels. However, if the design or operation of oil-fired boilers is not done properly, the same can produce the result of acid ash, of course, these contributing factors are not limited to liquid fuels. Although the amount of solid matter that appears in the form of gray flakes in the fuels of the fuel is usually small, its acidity is high, which is not as damaging as it is harmful.
