当今世界,随着经济全球化的发展,不同国家之间,不同的文化之间对跨文化交际能力的要求越来越高,因此文化的多元化在全球化过程中的作用也日益重要。在国与国之间日益增多的交流中,尤其是随着国际间政治,经济,文化交往的日益增多,语言作为不同文化和国家间沟通的桥梁,其重要性也在全球化的过程中凸显出来。而英语作为一门世界语言,在跨文化交际中的作用更为巨大。英语不仅仅是实现跨文化沟通的工具,更是文化的载体,文化传播的重要手段。
In today’s world, with the development of economic globalization, the requirements for cross-cultural communication among different countries and cultures are getting higher and higher. Therefore, the role of cultural pluralism in the process of globalization is becoming increasingly important. In the ever-increasing exchanges between countries, especially with the increasing political, economic and cultural exchanges between countries, the importance of language as a bridge between cultures and countries is also highlighted in the process of globalization . As a world language, English plays an even greater role in intercultural communication. English is not only a tool for cross-cultural communication, but also a carrier of culture and an important means of cultural transmission.
