The life of the Harbin Russians in the period of the puppet Manchukuo is an important part of the Eastern Russian expatriates and attracts more and more researchers’ attention. The complicated relations between the three countries of China, the Soviet Union and Japan during the puppet Manchukuo period determined the fate of Harbin-Russians at that time and the formation of their ethnic and cultural identity.
