老丁石馆是中华赏石园4个专题厅之一。这里陈列的是古都南京藏石家丁凤龙先生大理石画精品奇石。大理石因产于云南大理而得名,色彩丰富、纹理富于变化,自古以来深受文人雅士厚爱。明徐霞客《游记》云:“故知造物之愈出愈奇,从此丹青一家皆为俗笔,而画苑可废矣。”其珍、其美由此可见。老丁曾受老一辈藏石家天津张轮远先生所著《灵岩大理石谱》启示,在收藏灵岩石(即雨花石)的同时也珍藏大理石画,遂自成一家。其镇馆之宝如《孔雀》、《汉王刘邦》、《阿诗玛》、《老子出关》、《王者归来》等都可谓旷世之作,经典之尊。
