在工农业生产大跃进的1958年里,冶金部地質勘探部門的鑽探工作也有很大的跃进。台月效率由57年的平均136公尺,提高到210公尺左右,並且出現了千米队和两千米机台(台月效率)。同时質量提高了,成本也随着大大降低。这些成就的取得是由于党的正确領导,經过整风反右派和双反运动的偉大胜利,群众解放了思想,破除了迷信,在党的社会主义建設总路綫的光輝照耀下,鼓足干勁,力爭上游,大搞群众运动,大鬧技术革命的結果。从几年来的实际經驗証明,提高鑽探台月效率的好处是很多的。
In 1958, during the great leap forward in industrial and agricultural production, the drilling work of the geological exploration department of the Ministry of Metallurgy also made great leaps. Taiwan’s efficiency has risen from an average of 136 meters in 57 years to about 210 meters and a 1,000-kilometer unit and a 2-kilometer station have been installed.
