最近去过天津历史博物馆民俗馆的人,大多会被新添的一组天津近代婚俗仪仗队彩塑所吸引。但见那绵延七米长的队伍,司仪开道,旗手扬幡,鼓手挥槌,轿夫轻晃,绕轿童子欢天喜地,骑马傧相气宇轩昂……八十多个人物彼此神态各异又相互关照,栩栩如生地再现了百十年前天津一旺族迎亲的热闹情景。这组大型彩塑的作者,便是天津泥人张彩塑工作室的高级工艺美术师马玉兰。
