强、弱网络关系影响技术创新绩效的深层原因和内在机理分别是什么?探索式创新和利用式创新是否在其中发挥中介效应?创新开放度以何种方式影响两种创新模式作用的发挥?以社会网络和资源基础观为理论基础,通过对266家中国高技术企业进行调研,运用相关分析、因子分析以及结构方程模型对以上问题进行分析。研究发现,强、弱网络关系各自为技术创新绩效提供了两种不同资源并与之显著相关;探索式与利用式创新模式在其中发挥中介效应;同时,强关系更有利于利用式创新,因此,在强关系网络中应采取利用式创新为主,探索式创新为辅的创新模式配置。弱关系则更有利于探索式创新,在中国情境下,一般应采取两种创新模式相互平衡的配置;此外,创新开放度对探索式创新在强、弱两种网络关系与技术创新绩效间的中介效应均具有显著调节作用,并且在强、弱两种关系网络情境下,其调节作用的方向相反,而对利用式创新的中介效应则没有显著调节作用。
