报文存贮转发式计算机网络的节点机像一个面积有限的商店,顾客只有挤进商店才能得到服务,同样,输入报文只有进入有限的存贮空间才能被转发。这种报文存贮转发空间叫报文转发的存贮存贮器,SFM(Store and Forward Memory)。不合理的分配管理SFM不但使SFM利用率低,而且使网络流控制失效。本文首先建立一个节点机队列模型,然后阐述SFM分配与流控制关系。基于这个模型和分类报文概念,本文系统地描述了多种SFM分配方案,并从流控制角度说明它们的特点。这样做不但有利于工程设计,而且便于SFM分配方案的进一步研究。对于网络中流通的信息块,本文使用“报文”一词,而不是“报文分组”、“包”、“帧”等术语。
Message Storage The nodes of a forwarding computer network are like a limited-area store where customers can only get service if they squeeze into a store. Similarly, incoming packets can only be forwarded if they reach a limited amount of storage space. This message storage and forwarding space is called a packet forwarding memory, SFM (Store and Forward Memory). Unfair Distribution Management SFM not only lowers SFM utilization but also invalidates network flow control. This paper first builds a node machine queue model, and then elaborates the relationship between SFM allocation and flow control. Based on this model and the concept of classified message, this paper systematically describes a variety of SFM distribution schemes and illustrates their characteristics from the perspective of flow control. This will not only be conducive to engineering design, but also facilitate the further study of the SFM distribution plan. For the information block circulated in the network, we use the term “message” instead of “packet”, “packet”, “frame” and other terms.
