Translation aesthetics theory is of great significance,for it is practical in many translation areas,especially in literary translation.To study literary translation in the view of aesthetics provides a new perspective to help readers’better understanding.In this thesis,Zhang Guruo’s translation of Tess of the d’Urbervilles of Hardy,as the most eminent Chinese version of this work,is selected as a case study to explain how translation aesthetics theory is applied in literary translation.
