为了在林业调查规划中推广应用ArcGIS地理信息系统,提升林业调查规划的效率和质量,在2009年湖北省森林资源二类调查工作中,以当阳市淯溪镇为例,进行了基于DEM的小班坡度自动提取,并与实地小班调查的坡度进行对比分析,探讨了以免费的DEM影像资源为基础,通过综合运用ArcGIS的空间分析功能,自动提取小班坡度的方法、步骤,并给出了自动获取小班坡度的图解空间分析模型。
