1953年,冯子存在“第一届全国民间音乐舞蹈观摩大会”上独奏了两首笛子曲,引起了大会以至全国的轰动。冯子存在这次大会上的演出,标志着中国竹笛成为了独奏乐器。乘着这次大会的东风,中国竹笛独奏艺术蓬勃发展起来。随着冯子存、刘管乐等人的不断努力,北方的梆笛艺术逐渐被世人认识和喜爱。与此同时,南方的曲笛艺术也在陆春龄等人的努力下发展起来。
In 1953, Fengzi was present at the “First National Folk Music and Dance Conference” and soloed two flute songs, which aroused the sensation of the General Assembly and the whole country. Fengzi presence at this conference, marking the Chinese bamboo flute became a solo instrument. Taking the east wind of this conference, the Chinese bamboo flute solo art flourished. With the constant efforts of Feng Zicun and Liu Bangle, the northern flute art has been gradually recognized and loved by the world. At the same time, the art of Qufu in the South has also been developed with the efforts of Lu Chunling and others.
