1946年4月1日下午,中共政协代表王若飞、政协宪草审议委员会代表秦邦宪在重庆参加政协综合小组与宪草审议会协商小组举行的联席会议。会上讨论到省自治法问题时,中共代表与中国青年党代表陈启天之间发生了言语冲突,在中共代表批评陈启天后,陈启天与另一青年党代表曾琦愤而退席。此事后被国民党方面渲染称为“陈启天事件”。关于此事件中批评陈启天的中共代表是何人,向来有不同说法。
On April 1, 1946, on the afternoon of April 1, Wang Ruofu, representative of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Qin Bangxian, member of the CPPCC constitutional review committee, attended a joint meeting of the Consultative Group of the CPPCC Integrated Group and the Constitutional Review Committee in Chongqing. At the meeting, when discussing the issue of provincial autonomy law, there was a verbal conflict between the CCP delegate and Chen Qianting, a representative of the Al-Shabaab. After the CCP representative criticized Chen Qitian, Chen Qitian and Zu Qi, another representative of Al-Shabaab, angrily quit. This incident was later rendered by the KMT as “Chen Qitian incident.” There have always been different opinions on who criticizes Chen Qitian’s CCP in this incident.
