《曲艺》是一本全国性面向曲艺作家、曲艺评论家和曲艺爱好者公开发行且专业性极强的艺术期刊,它承担起了繁荣曲艺创作、加强曲艺理论研究、发现和培养曲艺人才、促进中外说唱艺术交流的重任。曲艺本身又是一种地域性、区位性极强的舞台艺术,全国拥有东西南北30多个省市自治区,且每一个省、市都能分出十余种不同的曲艺类型,单说我们四川的金钱板、四川荷叶、四川竹琴、四川盘子、四川清音、四川谐剧等曲艺种类多达20余种,真要尽职尽责方方面面都照顾到,极其不易。
