耕三寺是一座被日本政府定为国宝级的净土宗寺院,位于日本广岛县东南部的小岛濑户田。濑户田是濑户内海上一个朴素、明朗、悠闲的港口城镇,小镇的佛教氛围浓厚,是美术家平山郁夫的故乡。被誉为“西日之光”的耕三寺,由富商耕三和上为追悼亡母而建,前后建造了30年时间。寺庙内有山门、中门、罗汉堂、孝养门、本堂、银龙阁、多宝塔等建筑,再现了江户时代的佛教建筑式样。
Kengsan Temple is a monastery built by the Japanese government as a national treasury. It is located in Seto, a small island in the southeastern part of Hiroshima in Japan. Setoda is a simple, clear and laid-back harbor town on the Seto Inland Sea. The town has a rich Buddhist atmosphere and is the hometown of artist Hirayama. Kengsan Temple, known as the “Light of the Western Sun,” was built by the rich merchants for three generations on top of the mourning for the dead mother and built around 30 years ago. Inside the temple are the architectural style of the Buddhist buildings in the Edo Period, such as the Yamamon Gate, Jungmun Gate, Rohan Hutang, Hyogo Gate, Hagatsu Hall, Inagaya Tower and many pagodas.
