大地构造学是研究地壳在地球的地质历史时期中发生、发展和演化规律的科学。大地构造是地壳改造和建造、形变和形成的总合。地壳的运动和发展不是活动向稳定,也不是相对活动和相对稳定之间的转化;更不是几个板块漫无边际的漂流。地槽、地台、地洼、断褶、断拗、断块、地壳波浪等实质是地壳拗陷、隆起等同一概念的不同表达。
Geotectonics is a science that studies the law of occurrence, development and evolution of the earth’s crust in the geologic history of the earth. The tectonic structure is a combination of crustal reconstruction and construction, deformation and formation. The movement and development of the crust is not activity-to-stabilization, nor is it a conversion between relative activity and relative stability; nor is it the endless drift of several plates. Trough, platform, depression, fold, broken bend, fault block, crustal waves and other essence is the crust depression, uplift the same concept of different expression.
