江西省中醫實驗院是根據中央人民政府衛生部關於「團結中西醫」和「中醫科學化」的指示創建起來的。從一九五三年三月籌備以來,它已勝利地完成了基建工程;病房及入院處等,目前該院已於本月十五日舉行開院典禮。十七日先行開放門診。中醫實驗院的業務性質是以臨床實驗研究爲主,和一般綜合性的醫院不同,它的組織形式,設備和工作方法都是從中醫科學化出發的
