Exploration confirmed that the Fulaerji Oilfield, Jiangqiao Oilfield, Erzha-Allaxin Oilfield, Baiyinleule Oil and Gas Field and the Pingyang Oil and Gas Field that have been found in the western slope of the northern Songliao Basin have exceeded the distribution range of available source rocks, Oil depressions 30 ~ 100km, reservoir forming factors have been restricting the area of oil and gas exploration of the core issues. Guided by the theories of tectonics geology, sedimentary geology and petroleum geology, this paper carried out the study on the tectonic and sedimentary characteristics of the western slopes of the northern Songliao Basin and the typical reservoir research. In-depth analysis of the major controlling factors of hydrocarbon accumulation in the study area shows that the discovered oil and gas are mainly concentrated in four nose-shaped structural belt and overlying belt, and the reservoir sand body is distributary channel sand body in the delta front. The estuary dam , The far sand bar and the sand-like sand, pointing out that the degree of hydrocarbon accumulation and enrichment in this area is controlled by the type of structural and sedimentary sand bodies. The typical reservoir shows that there are abundant types of oil and gas reservoirs in the area, mainly developing micro-amplitude structural reservoirs, lithologic-structural reservoirs, tectono-lithology and uplifting lithologic types. Based on such factors as tectonics, faults, sedimentation and hydrocarbon migration, the hydrocarbon accumulation pattern in the study area is established. It is pointed out that the unconformity, faults and sand bodies are the channels for oil and gas transportation, pointing out the direction for future oil and gas exploration in this area.
