In order to prevent stroke, Wang Hong, a doctor at the Shanghai Institute of Hypertension at Shimane Medical University in Japan, used rats to ingest protein. After the protein is decomposed in the body, the urea produced can promote the excretion of sodium and lower the blood pressure. This is a breakthrough in the study of stroke prevention. This research has recently attracted the attention of the Asian Pacific Renal Society in Australia. Since November 1981, Dr. Wang has been working on the prevention of hypertension as the center under the guidance of Professor Tomori Morimoto of Shimane Medical University. Jae-sen’s group has experimented with an independently developed rat model of hypertension (a rat with a high blood pressure gene) and conducted an epidemiological survey in Shimane Prefecture, demonstrating that reducing sodium chloride intake and fitness
