Objective To investigate the levels and clinical significance of serum non-HDL-C and AIP in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Methods The contents of TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C were measured enzymatically by 152 Japanese OLYMPUS AU-400 automatic biochemical analyzer in 152 cases of hypertension and 99 cases of type 2 diabetes. According to the corresponding formula, C, AIP and ASI, and compared with 254 healthy control group. Results The levels of non-HDL-C in hypertensive patients and type 2 diabetic patients were significantly higher than those in healthy controls (P <0.05), while there was significant difference between AIP and ASI in control subjects (P <0.01) . Conclusion The elevated non-HDL-C, AIP and ASI are risk factors of cardiovascular complications in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and type 2 diabetes mellitus, which have high clinical value and can be used as a marker to evaluate the lipid profile of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension An important indicator of metabolic abnormalities.
