三轴剪力仪不仅能比较准确地测定土的抗剪强度指标,还可用于测求土的侧压力系数、灵敏度和孔隙水压力等数据。但由于下列种种原因而往往限制了室内三轴仪的广泛应用,并使它实际上不能用到勘察工地。 1.现有三轴仪体大且重,结构复杂,需有电源,不仅安装调试麻烦,而且运输不便; 2.三轴仪试验周期较长,生产效率不高,仪器数量太少,不能满足大量试验需要; 3.三轴仪试验原理和操作技术较复杂,对应用者和操作者提出了较高的技术要求; 4.三轴剪力试验要求取样较多(一组试验需用3~4个土),一般钻孔难于满足要
