有一种观点认为某些业态不适合连锁经营,凡是搞连锁失败的企业大多是业态不对。其实从发达国家连锁店的发展经验来看,零售业的业态并不是影响一个企业能否成功地从事连锁经营的决定因素。目前,连锁经营已成为世界零售商业的一种重要经营组织形式,几乎包括零售业的一切形态。从百货商店、超级市场、折扣商店、专营店到便利店、货仓式商店,从商品零售到餐饮、住宿,从医疗到理发、租赁等各类服务行业,均有按连锁方式进行经营的。然而同是采用连锁经营,各企业的经营前途却相差甚远。有的企业连锁以后规模与效益同增,得到飞速发展;有的企业连锁后不仅新开店效益低下,而且将原本经营尚可的老店也拖下了水,经营举步维艰。到底是什么在影响着连锁经营企业的成败呢?一个主要的原因在于这个企业自身是否具备了从事连锁经营的条件。
