本文根据林道在道路网中所承担的年运量(即交通量)及不同道路等级修建费和运输费的差异,用最小二乘法的原理求得运输费和修建费之和最小,从而得出经济路网中各等级道路长度的计算公式。当现有某一级林道长度短于用公式所算的值时,可将低一级的林道改建为该级的道路,使之达到计算值,使路网中的干、支线长度比例适当。此种分析,为构成林道网经济结构建立了理论基础。
