噪音性耳聋是一种较常见的职业性耳聋。多见于造船工人、钢炉工人、铆钉工人、纺织工人以及车间司机等。经常在声音嘈杂场所工作人员,由于生产过程中长期遭受高强度噪音刺激,以致造成听力损失。至于其他形式的职业性耳聋如飞行员、潜水员受气压急剧改变,引起的气压损伤性耳病;或某些企业从业人员因长期接触铅、汞、砷、苯等有毒物质而引起的中毒性听神经炎,则不在本文介绍范围之內。噪音性耳聋的发生是与工业的发展有密切关系值得我们重视的。在苏联及东欧人民民主国家,对这类职业性耳聋已很重视。
