今年9月召开的广东省人大常委会第五次会议审议通过的《广东省林地保护管理条例》,(以下称《条例》)已于1998年10月18日起施行。这是我省贯彻《中华人民共和国森林法》的一项重要配套地方性法规,是适应社会主义市场经济条件下,有效地保护、培育和合理利用林木、林地资源,保护生态环境,加快林业发展的有力法律武器。
