我们一直有两种相互矛盾的恐惧,一种是担心脱离了时代而变得古板,一种是害怕追随时代而犯下错误。在面对“网络是否对我们有害”这个问题时,我自己就是这样。网络对大家有利,这就不用说了,问题是有利的同时是否有害。网络让信息变得更快、更多,加强了人们彼此之间的联系,扩大了公共生活空间,但是不是也让人类的生活更为碎片化,让知识、品位褪色,人们因此而失去了对有意义的生活的专注力?我倾向于说“是的”。但是,每当我这么想时,都会感到一丝恐惧:我是不是已经变成了一个老古董,仅仅因为融不进年轻人的游戏就愤世嫉俗?我的确怀念很多年前那种寂静的生活,没有网络,没有手机,你读书的时候就是心无旁骛地读书。我怀念那时的生活不只是生活,还可以与人类历史上那些杰出的精神相伴。可是每当这么想时,一个怀疑的声音就会插进来:网络时代的
