简述了HIV-1辅助受体的发现过程及辅助受体CCR-5在HIV-1感染及发病过程中的作用。大量数据分析表明染色体上两个拷贝CCR-5基因缺失突变能保护个体不受HIV-1感染,而携带一个拷贝CCR-5基因突变的受感染个体,其发病过程较缓慢。
The discovery of HIV-1 co-receptor and the role of co-receptor CCR-5 in HIV-1 infection and pathogenesis were briefly reviewed. Numerous data analyzes indicate that mutations in the CCR-5 gene on both copies of the chromosome protect individuals from HIV-1 infection, whereas infected individuals carrying one copy of the CCR-5 gene have a slower onset.
