出版物出口小于进口的原因:第一,语言问题,我国出版物出口以中文书报刊为主,而海外可以直接阅读中文的人员数量有限;第二,使用英语出版外向型出版物,既缺乏语言优势,又缺乏渠道和营销的优势;第三,大陆出版社开拓海外市场的意识不是很强烈,中文图书的主要市场在大陆,加上对出版的垄断政策,绝大多数出版社经济效益不错,生存压力不大;第四,国外经营中文图书的渠道不畅。
